Seacastle Singapore Pte. Ltd. has an experienced acquisition team based in Singapore that maintains strong relationships with our potential transaction sources throughout the world.
For the future, we plan to develop and maintain a diverse portfolio of containership sizes and reputable charterers with staggered charter period expirations.
Ship Management
In a time-charter arrangement, we are responsible for the operation and management of the vessel including technical management, crewing, repairs and maintenance, insurance, stores, lubrication oils, communication expenses, periodic dry docking, painting and performing work required by regulations.
Our ship management activities are run out of our ship management office based in Singapore. The technical team is responsible for the initial due diligence on our vessel purchases such as ship inspections, as well as the oversight of our third party ship managers who provide the daily operating services required under our time-charter parties. Currently, we have engaged two reputable third party ship managers, namely Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement and Alfa Ship Managers Pte Ltd for our existing containership fleet.
